Postage and Packaging

 

Here at Borders Bulbs we have a standard delivery charge of £2.00

We also offer a Recorded Signature required delivery at a cost of £3.50

Free local delivery within 15KM

 

Delivery

 

Delivery is only available in the UK.

Please open parcels immediately and plant as soon as possible on receipt. If you are unable to do this then store bulbs in a cool, shaded place until planting and heel in plants in pots or open ground.

 

Please remember that we aim to deliver plants in good condition. If not satisfied please let us know within 14 days of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for performance after safe delivery.

 

Despatch Times

 

Bulbs are despatched from July to the end of October depending on the plant species. Despatch times will be listed with the plant details.

 

Where appropriate, bulbs are sent freshly lifted just before despatch. This is an important point as it ensures that they do not dry out, too long drying out being a common cause of failure in some species.

 

Bulbs 'in the green' are sent out when the plants are actively growing and despatch times will be dependant on the weather conditions.

 

Returns And Refunds

 

Borders Bulbs conform to the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order. We offer a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back for a refund or exchange if you've ordered the wrong things, the items are damaged or faulty upon receipt.

 

You have the right to cancel within fourteen days of commencement of your contract with us, or within fourteen days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer).

 

As long as the item has not been used we will be happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange.

 

Goods must be returned in packaging which prevents damage during transit.

 

Return postage is non-refundable.

 

If you choose to cancel your order, you will have your payment returned.

 

What happens next?

 

We will notify you via e-mail upon receipt of goods.

 

We will carry out your instructions as indicated on your returns form (subject to stock availability).

 

Accepted Payment Currency

 

All payments must be made in Pounds Sterling.

We accept Cash, Cheque, Postal orders, PayPal at the checkout and Card Payments over the phone.
